Responsibilities:
- Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, and other software tools.
- Collaborate with engineers and architects to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Review and analyze technical drawings, blueprints, and sketches.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of drawings by conducting thorough quality checks.
- Make necessary revisions to drawings based on feedback and changes in project scope.
- Generate bills of materials (BOMs) and material take-offs for construction projects.
- Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including specifications and design reports.
- Maintain organized files and records of all CAD drawings.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a CAD Drafter or similar role.
- Proficient in using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, NavisWorks, Sketchup, and other CAD software.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and drafting techniques.
- Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and standards.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and sketches accurately.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Associate degree or certification in drafting or a related field is preferred.
