We are currently seeking a Compliance Officer (RN) whose primary functions are to oversee, review, and evaluate compliance issues/concerns within the ACO.
The position ensures the organization, its management, and employees are in compliance with the rules and regulations of all regulatory agencies, ensures company policies and procedures are being followed, and that behavior in the organization meets the company's internally designated standards.
The Compliance Officer acts as staff to the Board of Managers by monitoring and reporting results of the compliance/ethics efforts of the ACO and in providing guidance for the Board and Executive Leadership Team on matters relating to compliance.
Responsibilities:
Creating and reviewing regulatory compliance documentation; Coordinating the creation, review and implementation of policies and procedures resulting from CMS laws and regulations; Applying and interpreting audit and compliance requirements for ACO departments and our Participant Provider's clinics (RGV and SA); Working closely with the organization's Board of Managers and Leadership Executive Team; Designing and coordinating the preparation of ongoing review of policies, procedures, training materials and other communication tools to ensure ACO departments meet compliance requirements; Coordinating regulatory audits; Interacting with external auditors on matters related to audits of the organization's internal controls; Establishing self-audit and compliance monitoring programs; Coordinating organization-wide rollout and trainings of new or updated policies and directives when required; Licensure:
Current state license as a Registered Nurse; Current driver's license;
Experience:
Experience in compliance is required; Management and leadership experience preferred; Skills:
Nursing skills as defined as generally accepted standards of practice; Management and leadership skills preferred; Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred; Transportation:
Reliable transportation; Valid and current auto liability insurance; Environmental and Working Conditions:
Office setting; Clinic site visits for our RGV and SA Participants; License/Certification:
Licensed Registered Nurse Compensation:
Salary range from $85,000 to $98,000; Performance-based bonus; Annual merit increase, if eligible; Job Type:
